You woke up on the wrong side of the bare mattress on the floor, and it's time to make it everyone else's problem.

This is a game about talking to folks, learning new skills, and picking random fights on the street with people that were more or less minding their own business. If you win enough brawls by successfully navigating through turn-based textual combat, maybe the indestructible (?) bouncer will finally let you into the illustrious BAR BASTARD.

Ban

• Taunt him repeatedly until he is blinded.

Ana

• Get banana goop on her suit.

Boyd

• Use literally any special on him, this guy sucks.

Paperthing

• Just as he's about to unleash his true power, put on the shades.

Cool Girl

• Just stay cool.

True Ending

• After clearing the game once and waking back up in your bed, purchase the DVD from 7/11 and watch it on your apartment's TV. Then fight the bouncer and use KUNG FU on him. After he kills you, clear the rest of the game. In the dialogue with the bouncer inside Bar Bastard, choose the "I'll kill you." option that now appears when it's presented to you.

GUTPUNCHER 40,000 was made with friends for a weeklong game jam in 2025. It's the back half of The 7/11 Duology which begins with Stamp and Deliver.

The soundtrack and ROM versions of the game are downloadable below. Both games in The 7/11 Duology were created with GBStudio and can run on GBC emulators and real hardware.
